Ian Wright: These two Man United players could cause Chelsea problems

The former Arsenal striker is confident that Manchester United have options to cause Chelsea's defence problems
Ian Wright believes Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are capable of causing Chelsea problems despite the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Monday night’s FA Cup quarter-final.

The Red Devils are set to be without the former Sweden international after Ibrahimovic received a three-game ban for violent conduct after clashing with Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings last weekend.

Ibrahimovic scored Manchester United’s 87th-minute winner in a 3-2 win against Southampton in the EFL Cup final at Wembley last month, while the 35-year-old has netted 15 times in 25 games in the Premier League this term.

Martial and Rashford have fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in last summer’s transfer window.

However, former Arsenal striker Wright believes the Manchester United pair are capable of causing the Premier League leaders problems at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

“On the flip side, you could get Martial or Rashford coming in,” Wright told Sun Goals podcast.

“They’ve been waiting for a chance and they could cause the Chelsea back three problems with their running and their pace.”

Chelsea were 4-0 winners against Manchester United in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge in October.

However, Mourinho’s side haven’t lost a domestic game since that resounding loss in west London.
