Everyone loved Pep Guardiola’s high five with Jurgen Klopp

New era of Pep

Why can’t we just give peace a chance, you know? That was the view after Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp brought a touchline squabble to an end with a high five. It was the Manchester City boss who initiated it.
Klopp was gesturing to the pitch, unhappy about a decision when the Liverpool boss was ambushed by Guardiola’s unusual act. The ex-Barcelona manager had been saying that he wished he had Klopp’s charisma before this game.
This was perhaps one of the first steps towards a whacky Guardiola. Only time will tell.
He’s usually associated with a beatnik dress sense but he’s abandoned his spoken word look for a more interpretative dance phase. We welcome it with open arms and so did the rest of Twitter. We’re feeling the love, man.

Guardiola under pressure?

Guardiola admitted that he was feeling under pressure following City’s Champions League exit in midweek.
He arrived in the Premier League with a weight of expectation but hasn’t managed to live up to that so far.
