Thomas Tuchel now joint favourite to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal

Thomas Tuchel to Arsenal?

The last 24 hours has been a busy period in terms of Arsene Wenger’s future at Arsenal.
This was always likely after Arsenal were defeated 3-1 at West Brom on Saturday and with speculation rife about Wenger with his contract up at the end of the season.
On Sunday evening, reliable German newspaper Bild claimed that Arsenal have been in touch with Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel & Allegri are joint favourites

It always seemed likely that Tuchel would at least be on the shortlist to take over at Arsenal, due to the side he has coached at Dortmund.
As a result of this report in Bild, the bookies make the Dortmund boss 3/1 for the job, with Juventus’ Max Allegri also priced at 3s to be Wenger’s successor.
They’re followed in the betting by Eddie Howe and Brendan Rodgers – both 10/1 – while Rafa Benitez is 12s to take over the Emirates hotseat.
However, the new man looks likely to have to wait his turn, with Arsene Wenger now just 4/6 to start next season as Gunners’ gaffer.
And, Wenger is 6/4 to manage Arsenal for the next two seasons.

Current odds on next Arsenal manager

Max Allegri – 3/1
Thomas Tuchel – 3/1
Eddie Howe – 10/1
Brendan Rodgers – 10/1
Leonardo Jardim – 10/1
Rafa Benitez – 12/1
Luis Enrique – 16/1
Patrick Vieira – 16/1
Ronald Koeman – 16/1
Manuel Pellegrini – 16/1
Unai Emery – 16/1
