Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez clocked at 150 kph in Chile, gets speeding ticket

Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez was given a speeding ticket and must appear in court afterbeing clocked driving at more than 150 kilometers per hour in the Buin area, south of Santiago, during a free afternoon given to the Chile national team.
Police fined Sanchez on Saturday, and his court date was set for April 12.
La Roja were beaten 1-0 in Argentina in a key World Cup qualifier last week, and Juan Antonio Pizzi's side now need a win over Venezuela.
Three points on Tuesday -- when Arturo Vidal returns to the squad after being suspended against Argentina -- will move Chile back into the qualification spots.
El Mercurio reported that Chile players expressed annoyance with Sanchez following the Argentina game after he did not shake hands with opposition players but headed straight to the dressing room.

Venezuela, who are out of World Cup qualifying, held Peru to a 2-2 draw last week.
"We can't get overconfident," Gonzalo Jara told the media. "Bolivia already took a point from us at home with the 0-0 draw."
The media in Chile were quick to link Sanchez's speeding to the incident during the 2015 Copa America when Vidal crashed his Ferrari after the team were given a night off.
Vidal was fined and given a two-year driving ban, but was not suspended from the team.
