Liverpool and Arsenal set to go head-to-head in the race to sign Brazilian international from La Liga heavyweights.

Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing Barcelona attacking midfielder Rafinha Alcantara, report Calciomercato.

The Brazilian impressed during his time with the La Liga outfit, and it prompted Luis Enrique to draft him back into the squad. This season, Rafinha has proven to be a useful utility option for Barca, finding the back of the net six times in 17 appearances in Spain’s top tier.
His good form appears to have caught the eye of two of the Premier League’s biggest names. Calciomercato report that both Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing him in the summer. It remains to be seen how much it will take to convince Barcelona to sell-up.
