Bayern Munich are keen to land wantaway Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez in the summer, reports the Dtoaily Star.
The Chile international is widely expected to leave the Emirates at the end of the season with a host of teams across Europe keen on the former Barcelona ace.
Manchester City, Juventus and PSG are all expected to move for Alexis, with Bayern Munich set to weigh in with a move for the Chilean.
The Bundesliga giants are eager to wrestle European dominance away from Real Madrid and Barcelona and feel Alexis is that player required to help reaffirm their status as the best side on the continent.
Alexis’ current deal in north London runs until 2018 and negotiations have stalled over a new contract, which will likely see Arsenal cash in on the 28-year-old rather than lose him on a free next summer.
Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez is an alternative for Bayern if they fail to lure Alexis to Germany, but the Arsenal ace is top of the club’s wish list.
Alexis (7.84) is second only to Eden Hazard (7.89) as the Premier League’s highest rated player this season
