Manchester City target happy at Barcelona

anchester City goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has admitted that he is happy in Barcelona.

The Germany international is again being linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium, despite the sale of Claudio Bravo last summer.

City
were rumoured to be keen on Ter Stegen 12 months ago, yet they instead signed his former Chilean teammate.

The 24-year-old, who is contracted to Camp Nou until 2019, has rebuffed speculation linking him with a move to City, however.
“I am happy here, with my team-mates and my friends,” he told Spanish publication La Vanguardia.

“I do not know whether I will stay at Barcelona for many years. You never know what happens in the future.

“I just try to give my all and do what's best for me and for the team. I want to give my best and keep improving.

“I am living in the moment. That is the most important thing.”

Ter Stegen is one of La Liga’s top goalkeepers, with no shotstopper keeping more clean sheets than he (11) in Spain’s top tier this term.
