Juve v Barcelona
Juventus host Barcelona at Juventus Stadium in the Champions League quarter-final tonight.Having pulled off one of the most historic comebacks ever in the last 16, Barca are now fancied as one of the favourites of the competition, but they’re up against a formidable opponent in the Old Lady tonight.
Juve find themselves 2-0 up inside the first 25 minutes, and Barcelona now have a mountain to climb to get back into the tie.
Argentine schemer Paulo Dybala got Juve off the mark with a lovely goal, which caught Barcelona completely by surprise.
Dyabal’s turn and shot, Pogba nickname
Juan Cuadrado got the assist, dribbling down the right before feeding a square ball into Dybala, who then pulled off a lovely little turn on a sixpence before slotting the ball into the far corner with a pinpoint finish. And funnily enough, Dybala’s turn and shot showed that Paul Pogba’s nickname for the Argentine is fully justified – Square R2, signifying the buttons used on the Playstation to do a quick turn and shot.
Pogba played with Dybala at Juve before returning to Manchester United last summer.
The Argentine is having a great game, in what could turn out to be an audition – it’s widely believed he wants to move to the Catalan capital at some stage.
And he’s had his issues with Allegri in the past…
